Job Description

The Account Executive SaaS Sales will be responsible for acquiring new business and nurturing client relationships, particularly those incorporating our API and SDK-based solutions into their applications and platforms. This role is a blend of sales and customer success, involving not only closing deals but also guiding customers through onboarding and serving as a trusted partner for ongoing success and account management. To excel in this position, a background in computer science, engineering, or previous experience in selling SDKs, APIs, or developer tools is essential. The ideal candidate should be adept at engaging with both business decision-makers and technical stakeholders, such as CTOs and developers. Key responsibilities include driving outbound prospecting to generate qualified leads, managing the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to contract finalization, delivering customized product demonstrations to diverse audiences, understanding different customer use cases across industries (particularly healthcare), and providing continuous account management and support to key clients. Additionally, maintaining accurate activity and pipeline forecasts in HubSpot CRM and educating prospects on QuickBlox's SDKs, APIs, and AI-powered tools through a consultative sales approach are crucial aspects of the role. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in selling technical SaaS products. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a preference for individuals who have sold SDK/API-based or developer-centric software. Strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to articulate technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences, familiarity with CRM systems and sales prospecting tools, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in customer success are also essential.
