Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations using Tally/Wings including Cash & Bank, Sales & Purchases entries.
Record accounting entries for expenses and taxation.
Perform monthly GST input reconciliation.
Generate daily reports in Tally for financial tracking.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all payable invoices.
Raise debit notes and credit notes as required.
Prepare and file TDS reports.
Track vendor-wise RA bills and follow up on payments.
Assist in quarterly GST submission.
Prepare GST and tax documents for filing.
Complete monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors, and creditors.
Supervise Account Assistants work and manage AP & AR records.
Handle staff and project-related claims.
Prepare closing journal entries.
Update all balance sheet-related schedules.
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as instructed.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or higher may be considered
Min. 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting and Finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word/Excel/V look-up & pivot table)
Strong working knowledge of accounting/general ledger/book-keeping
Independent and able to work within tight deadlines
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
Good team player and hands-on attitude
Applicants with experience in the construction industry are preferred
