Account Executive

We have urgent opening for Account Executive - Mumbai - Kurla Location for a fintech company.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support our finance

team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves handling

bookkeeping, assisting in statutory compliance, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in

financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP or other accounting software.

• Preparation of cashflow statement, analysis of the variances, reasons, and

maintenance of the liquidity

• Investment of the surplus funds as per company policy

• Record journal entries, handle accounts payable/receivable, and maintain ledgers.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations.

• Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.

• Coordinate with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and documentation.

• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

• Processing of the invoices in timely manner post verificawtion.

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Provide support during audits by preparing required schedules and data.

• Work closely with the senior finance team to streamline processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com or

equivalent).

• 1.5 –2.5 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, etc.)

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, etc.).

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
