Account Executive, Growth, Mid-Market

Job Description: As an Acquisition Account Executive at MongoDB, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and acquiring new customers through a well-formulated sales strategy within your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline within mid-market accounts - Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives - Build strong and effective relationships with clients to identify growth opportunities - Participate in sales enablement trainings and programs to enhance sales skills and leadership abilities - Collaborate closely with the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech required, Masters preferred - 8+ years of field experience in quota-carrying roles within a fast-paced and competitive market, focusing on growth business (Upsell & Cross-sell) - Experience in the mid-market segment working with digital native target accounts - Ability to articulate the business value of complex mid-market technology effectively - Track record of overachievement and meeting sales targets - Proficiency in building business champions and navigating a complex sales process - Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDPIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) - Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open-source technology is a plus - Driven, competitive, and eager to succeed - Strong time and resource management skills with a strategic approach to qualifying opportunities - Quick learner with high EQ, self-awareness, and a passion for growing a career in the software market Additional Details: MongoDB offers a supportive and enriching culture for its employees, investing heavily in their development and career growth.
