Account Executive

Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Gurgaon

Department: Finance & Accounts

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoices, reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions (sales, purchase, expenses, payments, receipts).

Prepare and process invoices, bills, and vouchers.

Maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Handle bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis.

Work extensively on Tally ERP for accounting functions.

Prepare MIS reports and assist in financial statements.

Manage vendor payments, follow up on receivables, and reconcile accounts.

Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required.

Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory).

Advanced Excel skills pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, conditional formatting, formulas, dashboards, etc.

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com/M.Com).

1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.

Hands-on experience in Tally ERP and Advanced Excel is required.
