Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
Record journal entries, purchase bills, sales invoices, and expense vouchers.
Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and ageing reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing.
Handle GST workings, reconciliation, and monthly returns.
Assist in preparing and filing TDS returns and challan payments.
Maintain records for statutory and internal audits.
Monitor receivables and follow up for payments.
Process vendor payments and verify bills.
Handle vendor queries and reconciliation.
Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
Coordinate for payments, LC/BG documentation, and fund transfers.
Monitor cash flow and update fund requirements.
Prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
Coordinate with auditors and respond to queries.
Maintain proper documentation and support SOP implementation.
Assist in improving processes and strengthening internal controls.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Assist in financial analysis for management decisions.
Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the finance team.

Preferred candidate profile

Inter CA / CA Intermediate qualified or appeared
.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and GST/TDS laws.
Proficient in Tally ERP/SAP/other accounting software.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle deadlines.
Strong Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS preparation).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
