Job Description

Key Responsibilities

A. Day-to-Day Accounting

  • Record purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally / ERP.
  • Maintain ledgers, cash book, bank book, and vouchers.
  • Handle petty cash and daily expense documentation.

B. Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare sales invoices, debit/credit notes.
  • Verify purchase bills and GRN with supporting documents.
  • Coordinate with the dispatch and sales team for invoice accuracy.

C. GST, TDS & Compliance Support

  • Prepare data for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation.
  • Handle TDS entries, challans, and monthly summaries.
  • Support auditors in statutory and internal audits.

D. Bank & Vendor Reconciliation

  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
  • Perform vendor and customer reconciliation monthly/quarterly.
  • Track outstanding payments, advances, and balances.

E. Payments & Collections

  • Prepare payment advice for vendors.
  • Follow up with customers for payments and maintain collection reports.
  • Coordinate with banks on transactions, RTGS/NEFT, LC, etc.

F. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly accounting reports.
  • Assist in P&L, balance sheet schedules, and cost reports.
  • Maintain supporting files for month-end closing.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
  • 15 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of GST, TDS, Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
  • Accuracy in documentation and strong numerical skills.

4. Additional Preferences (Optional)

  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, automotive, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation (BOE, duty, customs).
  • Experience in multi-company accounting.

5. Salary

As per industry standards.
