Job Summary

The Accountant Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting financial planning activities. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, supports audits, and contributes to efficient financial processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts, journals, and financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor customer billing, collections, and outstanding receivables.
  • Ensure timely processing of expense claims.

Banking & Reconciliation

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
  • Handle petty cash and support treasury-related tasks.

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and support preparation of tax filings.

Financial Analysis & Support

  • Provide analytical support for financial decision-making.
  • Generate financial reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Software & Tools

  • Use accounting software such as

    Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books

    .
  • Work with

    Excel

    (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas) for financial analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in

    Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

    .
  • 15 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (depending on company).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
