Account Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant at Divyansh International, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with GST laws. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organisation's financial processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing, reconciling, and maintaining financial statements and records according to accounting standards and internal policies. - Support GST-related tasks such as preparing and filing monthly and quarterly returns, reconciling input/output tax, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. - Stay updated with changes in GST regulations and collaborate with external consultants or auditors if necessary. - Support billing and invoicing procedures by generating invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely dispatch to clients. - Enter and update financial data in the ERP system, guaranteeing data integrity, accuracy, and proper transaction classification. - Aid senior accountants in preparing financial reports, conducting internal audits, and assisting in external audits. - Perform account reconciliations, review vendor and customer ledgers, and follow up on outstanding balances. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. - 2-5 years of accounting experience. - Working knowledge of GST regulations, return filing, and compliance procedures. - Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, especially MS Excel. - Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, time management, and organisational skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
