Account and Tax Manager

As a Chartered Accountant in our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and tax management. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Managing tax planning and compliance processes, including tax return preparation and filing. - Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for informed decision-making. - Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. - Mentoring and leading a team of accounting professionals to promote continuous improvement and professional development. - Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advising management on potential impacts. - Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends. Qualifications required for this role include: - Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management, preferably in a corporate setting. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments. - Proven leadership abilities and experience in team management.
