Access Control Manager

Role Overview: India is hosting the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2022, a significant event in the FIFA calendar for Women's Competitions. As a member of the Local Organising Committee, your role will be crucial in managing the Accreditation & Access Control functional area for the tournament. This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to the successful organization of a major international sports event and leave a lasting impact on Indian football. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Senior Accreditation and Access Control Manager to develop and maintain a comprehensive track sheet encompassing input from all Access control Venue Officers for each facility under LOC's purview. - Establish and nurture relationships with key venue stakeholders involved in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. - Oversee the Background Check (BGC) process and ensure its timely initiation by coordinating with all relevant functional areas and client groups for data collection of accreditations. - Coordinate with the local police authority for BGC clearance and approvals, ensuring all necessary data is submitted promptly. - Address missing data information and resubmit when required for the BGC process, liaising with LOC safety and security team for planning. - Plan and implement complete access control for all venues in collaboration with the Venue Access Control Manager, including preparing zoning, signage, and access control plans. - Train venue access control manager and volunteers on the usage of the accreditation system and process, while also briefing the safety & security team on accreditation and zone planning for access control. Qualification Required: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in accreditations and Access control operations, with a comprehensive understanding of accreditation systems. - Ability to work closely with the Senior Accreditation & Access Control Manager operations team to structure the overall accreditation program. - Previous experience in accreditations or facility operations for international events like FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, ICC tournaments, IPL, ISL, HIL, Pro Kabaddi League, or Commonwealth Games. - Proficiency in stadium operations and access requirements for various stakeholder categories. - Strong communication skills and leadership ability to lead accreditation teams effectively. - Familiarity with accreditation software and security regulations applicable to stadiums and events. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the capability to work under pressure in a team environment. - Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential for this role.,
