Access Control Manager

**Role Overview:** India is proud to be hosting the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2022, a significant event in the FIFA calendar for women's competitions. As a part of the Local Organising Committee, your role will be crucial in facilitating the Accreditation & Access Control functional area for the tournament. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of this prestigious event and leave a lasting impact on Indian football. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work under the supervision of the Senior Accreditation and Access Control Manager to develop and maintain a comprehensive track sheet with input from all Access Control Venue Officers for every facility. - Build relationships with key venue stakeholders participating in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2022. - Manage the Background Check (BGC) process, coordinating with all functional areas and client groups for data collection of accreditations. - Ensure timely submission of all required data for the BGC process and coordinate with local police authorities for clearances and approvals. - Liaise for missing data information and resubmitting as necessary for the BGC process. - Collaborate with the LOC safety and security team for planning and oversee complete access control planning and implementation for all venues. - Prepare zoning plans, signage plans, and access control plans in coordination with the Venue Access Control Manager and Safety & Security Manager. - Train venue access control managers and volunteers on the accreditation system and process. - Brief the safety & security team about accreditation and different category zones planning to control access effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 4+ years of experience in accreditations and access control operations with a deep understanding of accreditation systems. - Project management skills or ability to work closely with the senior accreditation & access control manager operations team to structure the accreditation program effectively. - Prior experience in accreditations or facility operations with international events like FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, ICC tournaments, IPL, ISL, HIL, Pro Kabaddi League, or Commonwealth Games. - Clear understanding of stadium operations and access requirements for various stakeholder categories. - Strong communication and leadership skills to support accreditation teams. - Proficiency in operating and guiding venue staff in the usage of accreditation software. - Knowledge of security regulations applicable in stadiums and events from an accreditations perspective. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). - Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively in a team environment.,
