Role DescriptionThe Access and Outreach Team offers a range of programmes that support people from under-represented groups and promotes progression to higher education for an ever more diverse student body. You will play a vital part in the University’s Access and Outreach strategy and will be integral to ensuring the University meets the aims, objectives and targets as set out in our University strategy and Access and Participation plan.The post holder will focus on the delivery of existing widening participation programmes and will support the development and delivery of new and exciting initiatives. You will also take responsibility for several projects that add-value to our broader suite of access and outreach work.We're looking for someone with a passion for widening access for, with previous experience delivering events and outreach and with the personal attributes needed to support and inspire the young people, families and communities we work with.Please contact Matt Beswick (matt.beswick@york.ac.uk) for informal enquiries.
