Academic Sales Executive

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freelance Academic Sales Executive to promote and sell educational programs, online courses, and academic services At Udemy. The ideal candidate has experience in education sales, understands academic products, and excels at building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, contact, and engage potential clients (students, schools, universities, or businesses) to promote educational offerings.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed enrollment and revenue targets.
• Conduct consultations to understand client learning needs and recommend suitable courses or programs.
• Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and onboarding clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to improve sales materials and promotional campaigns.
• Provide market feedback on customer preferences, trends, and competitors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, education, EdTech, or training services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Comfortable working remotely with international clients and teams.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, online meeting platforms, and digital marketing is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• Prior experience in academic sales, student recruitment, or e-learning sales.
• Knowledge of the online education landscape or EdTech industry.
