Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Academic Editor for Hindi and Sanskrit subjects to join our curriculum development team. The ideal candidate will have deep subject expertise, strong editorial skills, and a clear understanding of CBSE guidelines for Grades 9–12. This role involves reviewing, refining, and developing high-quality academic content that engages students and meets national education standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread Hindi and Sanskrit academic content for Grades 9–12, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with CBSE curriculum
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine lesson plans, textbooks, assessments, and supplementary materials
• Ensure grammatical precision, pedagogical relevance, and age-appropriate language
• Review and align content with NCERT guidelines and NEP 2020 recommendations
• Develop and edit multiple-choice questions, long-form assessments, and answer keys
• Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and instructional design across all materials
• Work closely with designers and curriculum leads to finalize print and digital content
• Stay updated on changes in CBSE curriculum and language pedagogy trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Sanskrit, Education, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in academic editing, content development, or publishing
• Strong command over Hindi and Sanskrit grammar, syntax, and literature
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks for Grades 9–12
• Experience in educational publishing or e-learning platforms is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of instructional design principles
• Experience with digital content tools (MS Word, Google Docs, CMS platforms)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and feedback-handling skills
