Job Summary

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students and parents on suitable academic and skill-based programs, handling inquiries, converting leads into enrollments, and supporting students throughout the admission process. The role combines counseling, communication, and coordination to ensure positive student experiences and enrollment targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counseling & Admissions

• Counsel students and parents on courses, career paths, and learning outcomes.
• Understand student needs and recommend appropriate programs.
• Explain course structure, duration, fees, certifications, and placement support.
• Convert inquiries (calls, walk-ins, online leads) into admissions.

Lead Management & Follow-up

• Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
• Maintain follow-up records in CRM / Excel / Google Sheets.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of admission cycles.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with academic and operations teams for batch allocation.
• Support documentation related to admissions, fee receipts, and student records.
• Assist in orientation programs and onboarding of new students.

Reporting & Quality

• Prepare daily and monthly counseling and admission reports.
• Collect student feedback and escalate concerns when required.
• Maintain ethical counseling practices and institutional standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
