Job Title: Academic Counselor – NEET Admissions
Department: Admissions & Counseling
Location:Kochi
Reporting To: Admissions Manager / Center Head

Role Overview:

The Academic Counselor will be responsible for handling student inquiries, counseling NEET aspirants and their parents, managing leads, and ensuring smooth admission processes. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Tamil and English to effectively communicate with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Handling & Counseling
• Manage walk-ins, telephonic, and online inquiries from students and parents.
• Counsel students on NEET programs, course structures, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
• Follow up with leads consistently to maximize conversions.
• Understand student needs and suggest appropriate courses.
• Admissions Process
• Guide students and parents through the complete admission process, including applications, documentation, and fee payments.
• Ensure proper entry of leads and admissions data in CRM/MIS systems.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
• Relationship Management
• Build strong rapport with students and parents, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
• Act as a bridge between students, parents, and the institution.
• Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, conversions, and admissions.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Fluency in Tamil & English (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion and counseling abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Education, Management, Psychology, or related field).
• 1–3 years of experience in counseling, admissions, or sales (education/NEET coaching sector preferred).
• Freshers with strong communication skills in Tamil may also apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
