Position Summary:

Academic Counselors

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Counselor

• Counsel prospective students and parents on ICA's training programs and career opportunities
  
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, and inquiries
  
• Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses
  
• Follow up with leads through calls, messages, and emails
  
• Convert inquiries into enrollments by explaining the value of ICAs offerings
  
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups in CRM
  

Senior Academic Counselor

• Handle escalated or complex counseling scenarios
  
• Mentor junior counselors and assist with training new team members
  
• Support the Center Manager in driving monthly admission targets
  
• Analyze student feedback to improve counseling techniques
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to improve lead conversion strategies
  

Requirements:

For Academic Counselor:

• Bachelors degree in any discipline
  
• 14 years of experience in academic counseling, or ed-tech sales
  

• Good communication skills in English and local languages(Kannada)

• Confidence, persistence, and a student-first approach
  
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools
  

For Senior Academic Counselor:

• Graduate/Postgraduate with 24 years of experience in counseling or educational sales
  
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
  
• Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate a team
  
• Proven track record of achieving admission/enrollment targets
  
• Experience in the vocational training or ed-tech sector is preferred
