Academic Counselor

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective students through our courses, programs, and learning paths. The role involves counseling students, understanding their goals, explaining course offerings, and supporting them from enquiry to enrollment.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, empathy for students, and the ability to build trust while helping learners make informed academic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle student enquiries via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins
• Counsel students and parents about courses, curriculum, fees, duration, and career outcomes
• Understand student background, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs
• Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into enrollments
• Maintain accurate student data and follow-up records
• Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding
• Assist students during admission and registration processes
• Participate in events, workshops, webinars, and promotional activities
• Ensure a positive and professional student experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education sales
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Ability to explain programs clearly and confidently
• Basic computer knowledge (CRM, Google Sheets, MS Office)
• Goal-oriented with a student-first mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹450,000.00 per year
