Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Academic Counsellor, based in Kolkata with some flexibility for remote work. The Academic Counsellor will support students in academic advising, counseling, and designing personalized career and educational paths. Key tasks include guiding students in making informed decisions about academic programs, addressing academic challenges, and fostering their overall personal and professional development. The counsellor will also be responsible for maintaining active communication with students, parents, and university departments to provide a supportive ecosystem for student success.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, and Career Counseling to guide students effectively
Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and university stakeholders
Background in Education with experience in understanding academic program structures and advising requirements
Ability to build meaningful relationships and provide empathetic support to students navigating academic or career challenges
Experience in working with educational institutions or universities is a plus
