Academic Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Academic Consultant to join our team. The consultant will play a crucial role in guiding students and parents, understanding their academic needs, and providing them with the right solutions offered by Ostello. This role is central to driving student success as well as achieving revenue growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from the given leads database.
• Understand student needs, interests, and academic goals to offer the most suitable programs.
• Provide accurate information and proper guidance to help students and parents make informed decisions.
• Build strong relationships through effective communication and counseling.
• Ensure timely follow-ups on leads to maximize conversions.
• Work towards achieving a monthly revenue target of ₹2.5 Lakh through student enrollments.
• Maintain detailed records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team for continuous improvement in lead quality and conversion strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Business/Marketing preferred).

• Prior experience in counseling, inside sales, or academic consulting will be an advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.

• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
