AC Technician

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace malfunctioning components (e.g., engines, transmissions, steering systems). Inspect vehicles for wear and tear and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed. Communicate with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines. Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology preferred. Proven experience as an auto mechanic or technician (minimum 1-3 years). Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software. Solid understanding of automotive systems (engine, drivetrain, brakes, etc.). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and a focus on quality. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions for extended periods. Working Conditions: Primarily garage/shop environment. May involve lifting heavy components (up to 50 lbs). May require occasional overtime or weekend shifts.
