Job Description

ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development

Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
Customize SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and HR based on business requirements.

System Integration

Build and maintain interfaces using SAP PI/PO, Web Services, and RFCs.
Support integration with third-party systems and SAP Fiori applications.

Debugging & Optimization

Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct code reviews and apply best practices for maintainability.

Documentation & Collaboration

Create technical specifications and maintain documentation for all developments.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Lifecycle Support

Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
Provide ongoing support for SAP implementations across regions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and SAP NetWeaver.
Experience with SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI) and enhancement techniques (User Exits, BADI, BAPI).
Familiarity with SAP HANA, Fiori/UI5, and OData services is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Exposure to Agile development and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Passion for continuous learning and SAP innovation.
