Job Description

Core Technical Skills

ABAP Programming:
Proficiency in syntax, data types, structures, complex internal tables, and database operations is fundamental.
SAP Data Dictionary:
Ability to create and manage tables, structures, and indexes to manage SAP data.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP):
Skills in classes, methods, inheritance, and modularization for code reusability and maintenance.
Reporting & Data Visualization:
Expertise in creating reports and lists using technologies like ALV (ABAP List Viewer).
Interface Programming:
Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services for data exchange between SAP and other systems.
Data Migration:
Skills in moving data between systems using ABAP tools.
ABAP Enhancements:
Customizing and extending standard SAP functionalities using techniques like User Exits and BAdIs.
ABAP Forms:
Designing and developing interactive forms for data entry and presentation.
Performance Tuning:
Optimizing ABAP programs and transactions for efficiency and speed.
Testing & Debugging:
Writing and executing unit tests and utilizing ABAP's debugging tools.

Modern & Advanced Skills

SAP Fiori:
Building modern, user-friendly interfaces using Fiori Elements and OData.
ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model):
Developing modern applications using this new model, which includes Behaviour, Metadata Extensions, and the OData protocol.
Front-End Technologies:
Basic JavaScript knowledge for Fiori development.
HANA Functionality:
Experience with AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and Open SQL for working with the SAP HANA database.
