Minimum 5 years of experience designing high voltage electrical substations structures and foundations Designs and interprets drawings for the following: substation structures, foundations, overhead lines, lightning protection systems, aluminum bus systems, underground pipe networks, and grading Reviews drawings for substation equipment, vendor supplied equipment and customer standards. Ensures compliance with customer specifications and design codes. Structural Designer- Substation & Transmission Work Location : Bangalore Experience: 3-8 Years Education: BE/B.Tech/Diploma-Civil/Structural SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Must have: Tekla, AutoCAD Good to have: Revit, E3D/PDMS, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Plant 3D, LFM RESPONSIBILITIES: The Civil/ Structural Designer will be responsible for creating substation field construction and manufacturing shop drawings. Able to self-perform 3D modelling & detailing of Structural Steel, foundations, and Miscellaneous Structural Steel like ladders, handrails, miscellaneous supports. Creating and/or checking general arrangement drawings Creating and/or checking anchor bolt plans Creating and/or checking foundation plans and details Creating and/or checking grounding plans and details Creating and/or checking lightning coverage (shielding) plans Creating and/or checking sag and tension charts/drawings Assembling and/or checking catalog cuts of equipment and/or material for construction reference manuals Creating and/or checking tube cutting schedules Creating and/or checking bolt counts Creating and/or checking structural shop and erection drawings (Ex. steel details, pfb details, etc.).
