A145-Associate Project Engineer / Project Engineer - Design ( Creo - Sheetmetal Skills)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and draft sheet metal parts and assemblies using Creo (latest version) in both 2D and 3D.
• Utilize PLM (Windchill) for product change management.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise engineering specifications.
• Ensure end-to-end product design, from concept to final delivery, under stringent timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze engineering design problems.
• Provide technical support to stakeholders. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design specifications are met.
• Follow design standards and best practices to maintain product quality.
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CAD Design, specifically with CREO / ProE.
• Knowledge of DVA, DFA, DFS, DFMEA is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with genset products is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with casting, forging and sheet metal manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with GD&T and engineering terms.
• Strong interaction skills and ability to work efficiently in a cross-functional team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and understand various product features and their relevance.
