Role Description

A PhD position with a fellowship is available at Saveetha School of Engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The position involves conducting independent and collaborative research in the field of Biotechnology or a relevant subject, contributing to academic publications, taking classes, and participating in departmental research activities. The candidate will also assist in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students and will work under the supervision of experienced faculty to achieve research objectives.

Qualifications

• Must hold an M.Tech degree in Biotechnology or a relevant field.
• Strong research skills, including proficiency in experimental design and data analysis.
• Proficient in scientific writing, document preparation, and literature review.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a research team.
• Prior experience in publishing research papers is an advantage.
