Job Title: Content Developer Training (CAD / 3D Printing)

Location: Mumbai Offline Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery:

• Conduct instructor-led training sessions for students on 3D printing fundamentals, 3D design workflows, slicing software, machine operation, and post-processing techniques.

• Provide hands-on workshops covering FDM, SLA, SLS, and other relevant 3D printing technologies.

• Mentor and guide students in projects, prototyping, and industry-aligned case studies.

2. Trainer Training (TOT):

• Conduct training-of-trainers (TOT) programs to certify Aptech network trainers in delivering the 3D printing curriculum effectively.

• Standardize teaching delivery across network centres to ensure quality and consistency.

• Create trainer manuals and evaluation rubrics to support faculty adoption.

3. Curriculum Development:

• Design and develop comprehensive training material including lesson plans, PowerPoint slides, lab manuals, and project assignments.

• Create video-based learning content and digital self-paced modules to support hybrid/online delivery.

• Update curriculum regularly to incorporate emerging technologies and industry needs in additive manufacturing.

• Collaborate with various industry partners to integrate OEM certifications and case studies into the program.

4. Academic & Industry Alignment:

• Map course modules to STEM, vocational, and professional skill development frameworks (ITI, Diploma, UG/PG levels).

• Ensure curriculum is outcome-based with clear career pathways (machine operators, prototyping specialists, R&D assistants).

• Stay updated with the latest trends in 3D printing materials, software, and applications to keep content cutting-edge.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, DLP, etc.) and 3D design tools (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, etc.).

• Additional skills/working knowledge of 3D Design tools like Autodesk 3dsmax, Blender, ZBrush will be an added advantage

• Prior experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or academic content creation.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for classroom & video delivery.

• Ability to train trainers and standardize pedagogy across multiple centres.

• Knowledge of additive manufacturing applications in engineering, healthcare, prototyping, R&D, and product design.

• Creative, structured, and detail-oriented approach to academic development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, or related fields.

• Certification or practical exposure in Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in training, curriculum development, or academic program design
