You will be responsible for: - Designing and creating high-quality 3D character models, such as humanoid, creatures, and NPCs. - Developing detailed character sculpts, topology, and textures for real-time game engines. - Creating PBR textures and materials to bring realistic and stylized characters to life. - Collaborating with concept artists and animators to optimize character models for animation and rigging. - Utilizing AI-assisted tools and procedural workflows to enhance the modeling and texturing pipeline. - Optimizing character models for performance without compromising visual fidelity. - Implementing proper UV mapping, baking, and normal maps to enhance character details. - Ensuring characters align with the game's visual style in collaboration with the design and development teams. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as a 3D Character Artist in the gaming industry. - Proficiency in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, or other industry-standard modeling software. - Strong skills in sculpting, topology, retopology, and PBR texturing. - Experience with Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar tools for texture creation. - Familiarity with game engines like Unity 3D or Unreal Engine. - Understanding of character anatomy, proportions, and design principles. - Ability to create realistic and stylized characters with attention to detail. - Experience with AI-powered tools for character modeling and texturing. - Strong UV unwrapping, rigging preparation, and optimization skills.
