As a 3D Environment Artist at our company based in Chennai, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling 3D environments and lifelike character animations for various projects in the gaming, film, and VR/AR industry. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Animation, Game Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, along with 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role, you will have the opportunity to work with industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, iClone, Unreal Engine, Reallusion Character Creator, and Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Your key responsibilities will include designing, modeling, texturing, and lighting 3D environments optimized for real-time performance, creating high-quality character animations using keyframe and motion capture techniques, developing detailed 3D assets, rigging characters for animation, integrating assets and animations into real-time environments, collaborating with teams to meet project requirements, and ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency across all assets and animations. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Reallusion iClone, and Character Creator, expertise in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, a solid understanding of Unreal Engine, knowledge of animation principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment. A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail will be essential. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Unity, experience in PBR workflows, knowledge of shader creation, proficiency in ZBrush or similar sculpting software, and the ability to create VR and AR content using Unreal Engine or other platforms.
