We're Hiring: 3D Animator / Rigger (Remote | Contract / Part-Time / Full-Time)

Stylised Mobile Action Game · Unity · Indian Mythology Theme

remote-first indie studio

• Rig characters, creatures, and weapons using Maya/Blender and Unity's Animation Rigging package
• Animate stylized combat actions — slashes, combos, dodges, cinematic moments
• Set up and test animation in Unity (Mecanim, blend trees, animation events)
• Work closely with design/dev to ensure smooth gameplay feel
• Optimize rigs and animation assets for 

  mid-range mobile performance

• Build tools/scripts to speed up iteration for the art team

• 2+ years

   experience animating and rigging in Unity (mobile/stylized titles preferred)
• Strong skills in 

  Maya or Blender

  , Unity 

  Mecanim

  , and 

  FBX pipelines

• Understanding of combat timing, anatomy, and game-feel principles
• Comfortable with basic scripting (Python/C#) for tools or automation
• Great communicator who thrives in a collaborative remote team

• Experience with 

  motion capture cleanup

  , retargeting, or physics-based animation
• Passion for 

  mythology-inspired storytelling

   and stylized game visuals
