Job Description

Role Overview:

Senior Data Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform data extraction, transformation, profiling, and quality checks using PySpark, SQL, and Hadoop frameworks.
Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and recommend effective remediation strategies.
Manage assigned tasks, track progress, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Develop, maintain, and update documentation, data dictionaries, and data lineage reports to ensure data transparency and traceability.

Must Have:

6 to 8 years of experience in data analysis, with proven hands-on experience in:
PySpark for data transformation and quality validation
SQL for querying and data manipulation
Hadoop ecosystem for handling large-scale data sets
Strong skills in data profiling, data quality assessment, and transformation logic.
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and driving data quality remediation initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
Strong documentation skills, especially in preparing data dictionaries and lineage documentation.

Good to Have:

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for presenting data quality issues and insights.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management tools.
