Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a संवाददाता located in Kakori. The संवाददाता will be responsible for researching, gathering, and reporting news stories on current events and other topics of public interest. Daily tasks will include conducting interviews, investigating topics, attending events, and writing accurate and engaging news reports. The role will also involve collaborating with a team to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery for publication or broadcast.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and/or other relevant languages
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and interviews to gather credible information
  • Skills in writing, editing, and proofreading to ensure accurate and high-quality reporting
  • Understanding of journalistic ethics, objectivity, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using digital tools, social media platforms, and basic photography/videography skills for news reporting
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Relevant educational background in journalism, mass communication, or related fields is preferred
  • Previous experience in a reporting role is a plus
