Job Description

Role Overview: As a Zonal Sales Manager for the Eastern region, your main responsibility will be to facilitate zone planning and expansion in Kolkata and East India for the Beauty & Personal Care product category. You will play a crucial role in maximizing sales revenues, market share, and maintaining collection timelines. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with other departments to ensure timely product delivery, enhance distributor relationships, and develop the sales team. Key Responsibilities: - Maximize sales revenues and profit, as well as market share in the assigned sales territory through effective allocation of resources and monitoring team performance. - Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, promotional budget, distributor management, and in-store visibility to execute the sales strategy for the area. - Forecast future challenges and provide mentoring solutions to enhance business performance and team capability. - Minimize sales loss, respond to market demand, maintain relationships with distribution channels and key accounts. - Manage distributor credit implementation, enhance relationships with internal departments, and create a successful sales environment. - Guide the team to achieve sales and market share targets, provide continuous on-the-job training, and develop high-performance teams in the zone. - Business planning, forecasting, and delivering short-term & long-term objectives at geography, account, and product levels. Qualifications Required: - Graduation in any stream, MBA/PGDBM in Sales & Marketing. - 10+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3-5 years in the Beauty & Personal Care industry. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example. - Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Customer-centric approach and strong relationship management skills.
