Job Description

Technical Knowledge/ Skills 1) Thorough knowledge of the Building Industry /PVC industry (Preferable) 2) Indepth understanding of the techno commercial aspects of the business 3) Ability to identify market opportunities, gaps, customer requirements, competitor actions etc. and formulate & strategic action plans 4) In-depth knowledge of the businesss product as well as the strategic, analytical and marketing concepts 5) Knowledge of market research, market mapping & product promotion & pricing Behavioral Skills & Attributes 1) Leadership skills 2) Energetic, enthusiastic & positive attitude 3) Excellent Communication skills 4) Adept at networking 5) Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational skills 6) Influencing & negotiation skills Responsibilities Sales Planning & Execution 1) To develop the annual sales plan & ensuring the promotion of the value-added products in the assigned zone. 2) Devise appropriate strategies & initiatives for achievement of target sales for the zone. 3) Define strategies for market penetration for new product lines as well as increasing the share of the existing products 4) To take the ownership of the top 20% dealers contributing to 80% of the sales value. 5) Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities. Profitability 1) Ensure the achievement of the zone-specific EBITDA. 2) Review and ensure adherence to the zone-specific budget and monitor its utilization. Network Expansion 1) Develop strategy to grow the market size with the existing business partners for their respective zone based on the market share analysis. Debtor Management 1) Ensure timely forecasting of receivables to maintain overdue outstanding below the targeted levels Customer Delight 1) Driving channel partner engagement, loyalty, rewards and recognition programs. 2) Monitoring customer attrition and plan customer retention strategies. 3) Review the Customer complaints MIS on monthly basis. To provide support to the team in closing the customer complaint wherever required. 4) To review the pending Credit Note (CN) issues on monthly basis. Brand Positioning 1) To strategize the positioning of the brand in the respective zone & accordingly plan branding interventions. 2) Monitoring the effectiveness of the branding activities across the zone. Team Development 1) To identify, develop and manage sales talent & support continuous improvement in sales capabilities
