We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the accounting operations across multiple branches. This role involves managing branch accountants, ensuring the accurate reconciliation of cash collections, and handling vendor payments. The Accounts Manager will work closely with departments such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Payments to maintain financial integrity and streamline processes.
1. Branch Accounting Oversight: Manage and supervise accountants across multiple branches, ensuringtheaccurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
2. Collection Reconciliation: • Oversee daily collection and deposit processes, ensuring that all funds areaccurately reconciled. • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in cash handling and ensure proper documentation is maintained across all branches.
3. Vendor Payments: • Manage the entire vendor payment process, ensuring that all payments aremade accurately and on time. • Review and approve vendor invoices and payment requests. 4. Interdepartmental Coordination: • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Payments departments to align financial activities with overall business objectives. • Provide financial insights and support to other departments, aiding indecision-making and improving operational efficiency.
5. Team Leadership: • Provide guidance, training, and support to branch accountants, ensuringthey are equipped to perform their roles effectively. • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedbackto promote continuous improvement.
6. Financial Reporting and Compliance: • Prepare and review financial reports related to branch accounting andvendor payments. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, cash handling, and vendor payment processes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Work Environment: • This role may require occasional travel to branch locations. • The work environment is fast-paced, requiring proactive problem-solvingand adaptability.
