Zonal Collection Manager

Role Overview: As a Collection Manager, your primary responsibility will be to achieve collection targets assigned to the territory by meeting the collection target for the states or region assigned. You will need to ensure meeting the Target on Cost of Collections and meeting PI Targets within the specified cost limit. It is crucial to ensure compliance with legal guidelines for the entire collection structure and to monitor collection agencies and executives to prevent fraudulent practices. Maintaining the write-off percentage within risk pricing is also a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be handling customer issue escalations, providing feedback on credit policy based on market conditions, and approving waivers on PI as per delegation matrix. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve collection targets assigned to the territory - Meet collection target for the states or region assigned - Ensure meeting the Target on Cost of Collections - Meet PI Targets within the specified cost limit - Ensure compliance with legal guidelines for the entire collection structure - Monitor collection agencies and executives for adherence to legal guidelines - Prevent fraudulent practices to avoid losses - Maintain write-off percentage within risk pricing - Handle customer issue escalations - Provide feedback on credit policy based on market conditions - Approve waivers on PI as per delegation matrix - Ensure documented feedback and action taken on all cases in soft buckets - Ensure adequate Feet on Street availability area-wise/bucket-wise/segment-wise - Manage and support mechanism for legal/police issues - Ensure compliance with audit queries and implement corrective and preventive actions - Manage productivity by setting parameters for DMA/Agencies/collection executives - Monitor performance against set parameters and conduct regular reviews of Area Managers and Collection Officers - Recruit collection officers/area managers - Continuously evaluate collection officers/area managers Qualification Required: - Graduate/Post Graduate with relevant experience Desired Skills: - Knowledge of banking products and services - Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and norms - Strong communication skills in both English and the local language - Understanding of Collection and banking market dynamics - Experience in team management,
