Job Description

Job Overview: As a Software Consultant, you will act as a strategic SPOC for the technical and functional support for ZOHO ONE implementation in the Organisation. Your primary responsibility is to understand business and department processes, gather requirements, and recommend tailored solutions using Zoho One and related Zoho applications. You will guide internal stakeholders through the planning, configuration, customization, and rollout of Zoho One solutions that align with their operational goals and enhance efficiency across sales, marketing, R&D, Operations, F&A and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Zoho Customization & Configuration:

  • Customize Zoho modules, fields, layouts, and workflows to meet business requirements.

  • Design and implement automation rules such as workflow rules, task assignment rules, and email alerts to streamline business processes.

  • Develop custom solutions using Zoho Deluge scripting language.

  • Configure and set up Zoho for new users, ensuring that it is tailored to their specific needs.

• Zoho Integration:

  • Integrate Zoho with third-party applications, APIs, and external systems (such as ERP, marketing tools, etc.).

  • Work with REST APIs to build custom integrations between Zoho and other software platforms.

  • Develop and maintain seamless data synchronization between Zoho and other tools in the ecosystem.

• Zoho Extensions & Custom Apps:

  • Develop and deploy custom apps and modules within the Zoho environment.

  • Design custom reports, dashboards, and views to enhance user experience and decision-making processes.

  • Build custom Zoho functions and use Zoho's Marketplace to integrate third-party apps.

• Data Management & Migration:

  • Lead efforts to migrate data from legacy systems into Zoho, ensuring data integrity and security.

  • Develop strategies for data cleaning, deduplication, and validation to ensure CRM data is accurate and up to date.

• User Training & Support:

  • Provide training and support to users on best practices and advanced features of Zoho.

  • Create user documentation and help guides to assist users in navigating Zoho.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Zoho functionality.

• Reporting & Analytics:

  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide insights into sales, marketing, and customer service performance.

  • Implement data-driven solutions to optimize business workflows and performance metrics.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, etc.) to understand business requirements and deliver Zoho solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and project deliverables.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with the latest Zoho features, updates, and best practices.

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in current CRM processes and recommend optimizations.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing, customizing, and managing Zoho for customers.

  • Experience with Zoho's Deluge scripting, custom functions, and workflows.

  • Familiarity with Zoho API integration capabilities and webhooks.

  • Hands-on experience in data migration and integration of Zoho with third-party tools such as ERP, marketing automation systems, and other SaaS platforms.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Deluge scripting and understanding of Zoho APIs.

  • Experience with Zoho Creator, Zoho Analytics, and Zoho Campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of database management and data migration strategies.

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customizing CRM interfaces.

• CRM Management Skills: Strong understanding of CRM workflows, modules (Leads, Contacts, Deals, etc.), and sales process optimization.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Zoho Certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of Zoho Desk for customer support integration.

• Familiarity with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory for end-to-end business management.
