Zabbix Administrator

Role Overview: You will be responsible for configuring and setting up Zabbix monitoring on various systems and devices such as OS, Databases, VMware, Storage, Network devices, and Web URLs. Your role will involve managing Zabbix host groups, users, discovery rules, templates, custom monitors, items, triggers, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will collaborate with SRE teams to implement monitoring solutions, find innovative solutions for customer requirements, and maintain documentation for implementations and customizations. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and set up Zabbix monitoring on OS, Databases, VMware, Storage, Network devices, and Web URLs - Manage Zabbix host groups and user accounts - Implement and manage discovery rules and actions - Design custom monitors and templates in Zabbix - Set up items and triggers on Zabbix frontend - Troubleshoot and correct monitoring inconsistencies - Collaborate with SRE teams to implement monitoring solutions - Find innovative solutions for new customer requirements - Create and maintain documentation for implementations and customizations Qualifications Required: - Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems - Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies - Clear understanding of basic network concepts and services - Good understanding of multi-tier application architectures and application runtime environments - Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow - Knowledge of alerting and incident-based collaboration - Nice to have experience in automation related to monitoring and improving effectiveness - Familiarity with large IT environments set up across Cloud data centers Role Overview: You will be responsible for configuring and setting up Zabbix monitoring on various systems and devices such as OS, Databases, VMware, Storage, Network devices, and Web URLs.
