Youth/Social Mobilizer

The Youth/Social Mobilizer will play a pivotal role in promoting paid skills courses to aspirants, unemployed individuals, and students across Northeast India. This position requires a dynamic individual who can motivate and counsel target audiences to enroll in skill development programs, leveraging expertise in digital tools, public speaking, and social media. The mobilizer will focus on building awareness, driving enrollments, and ensuring participants see the value in investing in their education for better career outcomes. As a field-based role, the candidate must own a 2-wheeler for efficient outreach in urban and rural areas.

Key Responsibilities
Outreach and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential candidates (aspirants, unemployed youth, and students) through community events, school/college visits, job fairs, and door-to-door campaigns to promote paid skills courses in areas like IT, hospitality, healthcare, and language training.

Motivation and Counseling: Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to inspire and guide individuals on the benefits of paid skills courses, addressing objections related to cost, time, and career relevance; use motivational techniques to encourage enrollment and highlight success stories.

Public Speaking and Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations at schools, colleges, and community centers using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint to showcase course details, career paths, and return on investment (ROI); facilitate workshops on skill development and employability.

Social Media Influencing: Create and manage content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube to build awareness; post videos, stories, and reels promoting courses, sharing testimonials, and engaging with audiences to drive inquiries and enrollments.

Photo and Video Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos of events, success stories, and promotional activities; edit and post them online using free tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) to enhance visibility and credibility

Data Management and Reporting: Use Google Sheets to track leads, enrollments, follow-ups, and campaign metrics; analyze data to optimize strategies and report progress to management.

Collaboration and Networking: Partner with local schools, colleges, NGOs, and government bodies to organize mobilization drives; coordinate with internal teams for seamless enrollment processes.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all activities adhere to organizational policies, promoting transparent and ethical practices in counseling and enrollment.

Travel and Field Work: Utilize a personal 2-wheeler to travel across assigned regions for on-ground mobilization, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications and Eligibility Education: Graduation in any stream (e.g., Arts, Commerce, Science, or related fields). Experience: 1-3 years in mobilization, counseling, sales, or community outreach; prior experience in education/skill development sectors preferred but not mandatory fresher’s are welcome.

Transportation: Must own and operate a 2-wheeler (scooter/motorcycle) with a valid driving license.

Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within Northeast India; proficiency in regional languages (e.g., English, Hindi) is a plus.
