Xceptor (Application Developer)

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst, you will participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your primary objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements. - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems. - Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications, analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing and debugging. - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts. - Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions. - Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, guided by precedents. - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy, act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. - Assess risk appropriately, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. - Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices. - Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency. **Qualifications Required:** - 4-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry. - Hands-on experience in Xceptor Data hub and Recon Hub. - Intermediate level experience in an Applications Development role. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
