Workshop Manager & Service Advisor

Skills and qualifications

• Leadership and Management: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are crucial.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong technical background in two-wheeler repair is essential.
• Customer Service: The ability to communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues professionally.
• Business Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience: Prior experience in a workshop environment is highly recommended.
• Supervise Daily Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee all workshop activities, including vehicle check-ins, service, repairs, diagnostics, and delivery.
• Workflow & Resource Management: Allocate jobs to technicians based on their skill sets and workload to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of vehicles (Turnaround Time - TAT).
• Quality Control: Monitor work quality and conduct final inspections of serviced vehicles to ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards (like 5S policies) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Active Listening: Listen attentively to customers' descriptions of their vehicle's symptoms and concerns to accurately determine their service and repair needs.
• Explain Repairs: Clearly communicate repair recommendations, cost estimates, and timelines in non-technical terms to customers.
• Obtain Authorization: Contact customers for approval before any additional work is performed or if there are changes to the original estimate or promised time.
• Follow-Up: Conduct post-service follow-up calls or messages to ensure customer satisfaction and address any lingering concerns.
• Handle Complaints: Professionally address and resolve customer complaints regarding services rendered, ensuring a satisfactory outcome.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
