Workday Integration Architect

As a Workday Integration Architect at the company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and governance of Workday integrations within the HR technology ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining integration patterns, frameworks, and standards to ensure scalability, performance, and compliance. - Partnering with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions. - Developing and overseeing integrations using various tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, PECI/CCB, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools. - Ensuring that integrations are secure, compliant with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA), and meet organizational governance standards. - Troubleshooting integration issues, monitoring performance, and providing long-term support solutions. - Guiding and mentoring developers and consultants on Workday integration best practices. - Collaborating with enterprise architects to align Workday integrations with the overall IT architecture. - Documenting architecture, data flows, integration specifications, and support models. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred). - 8+ years of IT integration experience, with at least 4+ years in Workday integration design and architecture. - Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP). - Experience with middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Azure Integration Services. - Proven experience in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations. - Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Workday Integration Certifications are strongly preferred. Nice to have qualifications for this role include: - Experience with Workday Extend / Prism Analytics. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP. - Background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. - Ability to lead cross-functional integration teams.
