Workday Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Project Leadership:

  Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of Workday HCM projects, from planning and design through to deployment.

• Integration Management:

  Oversee the integration of Workday with various third-party systems.

• Architectural Design:

  Provide end-to-end solutions and design details during architectural sessions.

• Functional Expertise:

  Act as a subject matter expert in Workday functionalities, especially in HCM, and a strong understanding of HR processes.

• Client Engagement:

  Identify new Workday features, perform client demonstrations, and ensure client business needs are met through scalable solutions.

• Team and Resource Management:

  Estimate project effort, provide input on staffing, and lead project teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience:

  8+ years of Workday experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical architecture role.

• Technical Skills:

  Mandatory Workday certifications (e.g., Integrations Services Pro), and hands-on experience with technologies like EIB, Studio, PECI, PICOF, and Workday Web Services APIs.

• Functional Knowledge:

  Deep understanding of Workday's HCM modules and other areas, as well as knowledge of security configuration.

• Project Management:

  Experience in all project phases, including fit/gap analysis.

• Cross-functional Skills:

  Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Should be Certified on Workday
