Wordpress/Shopify Developer (Backend Only)

Job Description

Lovee Technologies is looking for a talented and passionate WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our growing team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills and a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, custom theme/plugin development, API integration, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites Build custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements Modify existing Shopify themes and apps based on client needs Integrate third-party APIs and develop REST APIs when required Optimize website performance, speed, and security Collaborate with frontend developers and designers for seamless UI/UX integration Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across multiple browsers and platforms Manage staging and production deployments Required Skills (Backend Focused): Proficiency in PHP and MySQL Strong experience with WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin development Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid templating and Shopify CLI Expertise in RESTful API development and integration Knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery , AJAX, and basic frontend debugging Familiarity with version control systems (Git) Experience with cPanel, FTP, and server-side management Understanding of SEO best practices , schema, and technical optimization Basic knowledge of Shopify App integration and Shopify Plus is a plus Eligibility: 1–3 years of relevant experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent time management and communication skills Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan – This is a strictly onsite position. Remote work is not available.
