Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet client specifications.

· The primary responsibility is to build, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and templates according to client specifications. This involves coding in languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's proprietary language, Liquid.

· Create custom plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress websites as per project requirements.

· Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.

· Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

· Utilize PHP and MySQL to develop custom functionalities, manage databases, and handle server-side tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify projects.
• Portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and code samples.
• Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Element or Beaver Builder.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Familiarity with WordPress multisite configurations.
