Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop custom WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and templates.
Maintain, update, and optimize existing WordPress websites.
Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and compatible across browsers
and devices.
Integrate third-party APIs, tools, etc. as needed.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance or security issues.
Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, content writers, and digital
marketing teams for seamless execution.
Implement best practices for site speed, security, and scalability.
Keep up to date with WordPress trends, plugins, and emerging web
technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg).
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations including payment
gateways.
Experience in custom plugin development.
Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

B. Tech in Computer Science
Certifications in programming languages (HTML, PHP, Java)
Certifications in Data Science (SQL)
