About the Internship

Join Shivai Digital Media as a Junior WordPress Developer intern and get hands-on experience building and maintaining WordPress sites. This is a practical, mentor-led internship designed for learners who want real project experience and a pathway to full-time work.

What you’ll learn / do

• Customize WordPress themes and child themes.
• Work with core plugins, install/configure and troubleshoot.
• Basic PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript tasks within WordPress.
• Optimize pages for speed and basic SEO best practices.
• Assist with content uploads, image handling (UUID naming), and QA on different devices.
• Collaborate with the design and content team on live projects.

Who should apply

• Students or early-career developers who know basic HTML/CSS and have used WordPress.
• Eagerness to learn, good communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Prior project or portfolio links are a plus.
