Job Description

We are seeking a WordPress Developer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Convert UI designs (PSD/Figma/XD) into responsive WordPress pages
• Customize existing themes and plugins as per project requirements
• Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates
• Integrate third-party plugins and APIs
• Optimize websites for SEO and loading speed
• Coordinate with designers, content teams, and project managers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, theme & plugin customization
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Basic knowledge of MySQL and database management
• Familiarity with Git/version control is a plus

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Experience with website migration and hosting (cPanel, FTP)
• Understanding of website security and backups

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant experience and portfolio can substitute formal education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
