Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in theme customization, plugin development, performance optimization, and creating SEO-friendly, responsive websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using themes and plugins.
• Customize WordPress themes and build custom themes when required.
• Develop and modify WordPress plugins as per project requirements.
• Convert UI/UX designs (Figma/PSD) into responsive WordPress pages.
• Ensure website speed, performance, and security optimization.
• Implement SEO best practices (on-page SEO, schema, clean URLs).
• Troubleshoot issues related to themes, plugins, and hosting.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and forms.
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
• Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with custom theme & plugin development.
• Proficiency in page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery).
• Knowledge of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and custom post types.
• Experience with WooCommerce customization.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Understanding of website security, caching, and performance tools.
• Basic knowledge of hosting, cPanel, FTP, and DNS.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of WordPress multisite.
• Experience in SEO, Google PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals.
• Basic knowledge of React or Gutenberg block development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
